Building confidence with hypnotherapy


Confidence is a very complex and personal thing that can take some time to build up, especially if you have never been particularly confident.

The great thing is that with hypnotherapy we can work on a confidence that is realistic, suits you and your goals and give you the tools to maintain your confidence after sessions have finished.


What is confidence?


For people who have never been confident before, this is a very common question.

In my experience confidence is made up of a few key factors:

  • Ability to express opinions and views in a way that other people listen to
  • The resilience to try and fail at things but continue to try and achieve the things you want
  • A clear but adaptable goal setting mindset in order to maximise the success of fulfilling life goals
  • The ability to control negative thoughts and create a realistic positive outlook
  • The belief that you have the same right as anyone else to live the life that you want

Consider how you are damaging your confidence


The first thing we would need to do is work out how your confidence is being eroded now. Often other people can contribute towards this however we have much more control over how we think than how others act.

So we focus on you.

We use cognitive behavioural based exercises to help you understand how your thoughts will be affecting how you think and how you act, which will in turn be affecting your confidence.
